All, I have an older HP 2524 (j4813a) switch that I cannot get a console session on via the serial port using an HP cable.
I can telnet to it just fine, but hypertrm (9600 8n1, any flow control - none/hardware/xon-xoff) will not connect. I just did a reload command in the telnet session, and the boot sequence shows on the serial console in hypertrm, but it won't respond to the keyboard. Has anyone run across this and solved it?
