Sorry to take so long to get back to this thread, but I've been swamped.
Good question Jack. I considered it, but after talking with some colleagues who have done just that, it looked like the difference in cost after purchasing new phones wasn't worth the headache of learning and implementing a new system when I don't have time to properly test such a plan. I was given 60 days to implement a branch office phone system, and I can barely get the lines in place in time. throw in learning to build and use a new system, and I would have been doomed. My colleagues who had done this warned me that it works exceptionally well, but they wish they had planned more time for testing. That was enough for me.
