Indeed--we (consumers) win from competition.

I own stock in Apple, and love a lot of things about the iPhone. But Apple
gives no hardware choice, and I really need a hardware keyboard.

So next I looked at Android... Lots more hardware choices, but then I learned
about fragmentation. I couldn't keep all of the different versions of Android
straight, and it seemed like every phone ran a different one. Even if I bought
a phone with the latest version, what would happen the next time an update was
released? The odds were good that I couldn't count on getting it on my phone
for months, if at all.

And that led me to WP7. More hardware choices like Android, but more OS
consistency like iPhone. Bingo!

Good! I want them to stay in the picture and keep up the competition.

Windows Phone 7 here.

And let me take a moment to shamelessly plug it... The WP7 platform is pretty
nice! It will absolutely give the iOS and Android platforms real competition
down the road.
