As Carl Houseman suspected, that's a SOHO NAT router. NAT breaks all sorts of things, and it's likely your application is one of them. Some of those boxes let you disable NAT and use it as a plain old router. Look for such an option. D-Link's web site says there are two different, mutually incompatible products with that model designation. (I really hate SOHO gear, for this reason alone.) Is yours a "REV B" EBR-2310, or the other one? http://www.dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=EBR-2310&tab=3 -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
