Seems like Australia can't catch a break - the floods, the cyclone and now the
fires. Thinking of you all.

All ok here thanks Erik. Luckily I am about 800kilometres south of it. We had
3 stores in the area though. One is still down due to power loss but the
others are ok. Luckily the worst of the cyclone didn’t hit any of the heavily
populated areas. It did however completely wipe out some of the smaller towns.
In particular a lot of farming areas were completely destroyed. The banana
farmers can’t catch a break. They lost their entire crops in 2007 and it has
now happened again. Many were heavily financed to get through the last loss
and now they are without an income for another year. The area produces 90%
plus of the countries bananas as well as a significant percentage of the sugar
cane. Lots of luxury boats ended up piled in a mess on the shore.

Subject: RE: Some thoughts for your DR Plan Absolutely Erik. I want to help
others as much as possible as it really is a horrible thing to have to go
through. We have recovered very quickly imo and the systems we did have in
place helped us to do that. But we could have avoided huge amounts of pain if
we had better DR systems and plans in place. From: Erik Goldoff
