It will trim the SMTP Transport logs? I had no idea. (I haven't had them on for 30 days yet.)
I have always kept the logs when I was on 2003, I'll probably just keep doing it. From: Michael B. By default, Exchange only keeps around 30 days of logs and will automatically trim them. If you change the file extension you'll break the automatic trimming. They cannot be turned off. (please don't ask why :) ) so after a few weeks or so, the C: drive fills up.
