Define "small footprint". Does it need to print anything other than labels? If it's printing labels only, I'd suggest a dedicated label printer, such as a Zebra/Eltron. If it's multi-purpose, I know of nothing good the size of the HP P1102. I'm pretty nothing good exists at that size for any price (well, maybe if you contracted out the design and fabrication of the printer yourself, but that would be a tad pricey, methinks). The market has chosen a race to the bottom on this one. We've been fairly happy with the Lexmark E360dn line, some of which we use to print sheet labels. Comparable in price to HP's offerings of the same spec (if not slightly cheaper), somewhat better customer support, much better driver software. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
