+1. I can say that if I didn't buy laptop bags for my employees, many of
them just wouldn't use a bag at all. Yikes.

When you order a new PC, what is it, like $15 to throw in a bag?

That's a policy that may impress if you were to seek to change it. To
entrust users to research and buy adequate protection for corporate property
can be a serious mistake.

Ok, started my new job yesterday and found out that a laptop bag is my
responsibility to acquire. In my last gig, it was provided by the company
and property of the company, so I didn't give it much thought. I'm leaning
toward Swiss Army, because that's what I had last and it seemed pretty
sturdy but haven't really looked. I prefer a backpack. I'll be travelling
some in airports in the US, but not a ton.

Any suggestions as to what to consider or avoid?
