I think it was on Top Gear that they showed when using the Nav in the
Audi, if you touch a climate control, the display switches from the Nav
map to Climate settings - whether you want it to or not.

         In some cars, what used to be "the radio" is actually morphed
into a
        general-purpose interface for all sorts of things.  The sales VP
at
        $WORK has an Audi which is almost more computer than it is car.

        same 5 inch LCD in the dash accesses music, navigation, cell
phone,
        climate controls, seat positions, driving preferences, engine
        maintenance, etc., etc.  Mark my words, the day isn't far off
where
        we're going to have to reboot our cars.
