"Time sync" is highly forgivable. Your typing subroutine concluded that those two words just don't go together, and so auto-corrected to a synonym that's more related to "time" than is "sink".

Whenever I've had the benefit of users that were sufficiently capable of using technology such that they didn't act as a huge time sync on me or my department, we have been able to do value ADDED things for the business. If my users are all self-sufficient (but not reckless), and the technology was stable (which is generally is these days), we would build more revenue-producing things.
