Just a few: -Ask them to explain the order of group policy application and if a policy is not applying as expected, how would you troubleshoot that (maybe with a specific example)? -List out some common ports and see if they know what runs on them. Ask how to create a firewall rule in Windows that allows or blocks a specific configuration-gives you an idea of their ability to work with firewall configurations in general. -How do you evaluate updates for installation? (Looking for all ranges of updates and what they think about-from security and non-security for OS, software, to drivers and firmware). -Can you work this weekend?
