DDE issues are the bane of my existence! Had a bunch of my machines once have issues with DDE, causing a huge lag when opening office files (Like 2 minutes). I VM'd 3 affected machines and sent them to MS PSS, they had about 3 techs working on finding the issue/resolution.
They could not solve it. They refunded my money. Meh. Thanks for sharing.
