Well, I just got a new roomie and he was having problems connecting to my
router yesterday until I power-cycled it, at which time his laptop came up
and asked for the password. Not sure whether it was the router or the laptop
or Windows 7. :D I've got Linksys WRT54GS2 running the factory firmware. I
keep meaning to upgrade the firmware to DD-WRT, just never got around to it.
:D

No, it's with a pretty old LinkSys WRT-54.  I'm just pointing out that I too
have a device that is the only one with connection problems.
