If you care to install OSX Server, Apple has a Software Update Service
which is similar in concept to WSUS, but for Macs.

Just put them on a separate VLAN, install this (

) and make them use a Windows published desktop from a Citrix
server running through the web interface. No more worrying
about updating Macs :-)

couple dozen Mac OS’s here and none of them are managed the

Do any of you manage (or work with folks that manage) multiple
Mac OS machines? Ideally something that can do GPO-ish and
SMS-ish kinds of things. Specially patch and protect.
