So, I see you're using an older version a management tool, too. What
version? 2.0? 2003?

Patches - Problem Solved?

Thank you to all who responded and offered advice!

I'm pretty sure I have it. I didn't force a reboot when composing my SMS
package. And since a couple of the updates affected IE, it required a
reboot (which I didn't supply). DUH!!!

I can't reboot now to see if that solves the problem (the servers are
production and not allowed to restart until after hours.)

THANK YOU ALL!!!!!

I know we should, I have a handful of IE 6, the majority are ie 7 and a few
ie8.

Didn't think about AV.

Yes, downloading manually has not been an issue on the few I've run
manually, pushing patches with sms.

Haven't scanned yet.

Thank you!

Sounds like ie is corrupt for some reason - maybe AV stopped it from
updating successfully.

Have you scanned for malware/Trojans?

Have you attempted to download the patches and apply manually to test?

BTW: you really need to move away from IE6.
