Check /var/cache/esxupdate for it. Otherwise if you still have the ESX 4.1 media (or download from their website) you should be able to copy the RPM from there and install it.
As far as the agent install, have you seen this page: http://www.alexfeigenson.com/2010/04/hp-esx-management-agents-wont-uninstall/ DAMIEN SOLODOW Systems Engineer 317.447.6033 (office) 317.447.6014 (fax) HARRISON COLLEGE -----Original Message----- From: Mike Leone [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, July 12, 2011 10:22 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Re: OT - problems installing HP Management Agents on VMware ESX 4.1 On 7/12/2011 10:04 AM, Damien Solodow wrote: > Do you remember how they told you to uninstall SNMP? I can easily re-install it with "rpm -ivh" ... once they tell me where to go and get the RPMs ... those files are not listed as a separate downloads at HP. Nor will it help with the Management Agent install problem .... I have 4 other ESX hosts still running on 8.6.0, and there's not a chance in the world I am upgrading those. At least they are still working; the other 2 are not (from an HP Management and monitoring perspective; VMware is chugging along happily ...). > > We switched to ESXi a while back, so I haven't done the full agent > install in a long time. :( > > DAMIEN SOLODOW > Systems Engineer > 317.447.6033 (office) > 317.447.6014 (fax) > HARRISON COLLEGE > > -----Original Message----- > From: Mike Leone [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Tuesday, July 12, 2011 10:03 AM > To: NT System Admin Issues > Subject: OT - problems installing HP Management Agents on VMware ESX > 4.1 > > I realize this is more than a bit OT, and I do have a tech support case > opened with HP.
