I just build a cross gcc-3.4 from Debian Etch including latest
binutils-2.17.

I could build the 2.4.32 kernel from CVS after applying your patch to
vmlinux.lds and another one minor one to driver/nubus/nubus.c ("Label at
end of compound statement").

My PB1400 turns of after the initial boot messages (when run from miBoot).

I feel there is something wrong with the current code in CVS, since
before updating my local files I didn't turn off in that way.
May be I will try an earlier checkout again...

Unfortunately I don't have access to my original cross gcc-3.3
(+binutils-2.15 I guess) any more.

Which versions did you use (kernel, gcc, binutils)?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

  Florian
