Hey Dan, At the time there wasn't much in that dir. I have since reinstalled X and got it to run, but the screen only goes black and returns to the console with an error. I believe it is because I had no idea what to tell X about my screen and so its defaulting to pci, which of course my 1400 does not have.
Any ideas on what I setting I should use? During installation i chose the fbdev (or similar) screen driver, what that right? Thanks, Grant.
