I knew this years ago it was in a book I had on Macs from the library. 
I still don't know what PDM stands for ? I know Piltdown Man is the 
code name but is that really what it stands for. Tisk, Tisk, I really 
like the 61XX series they were built tough unlike the 7300/200mhz pci I 
used to have that was noisy and had more problems with quik and 
firmware than was worth.

No, it moves by too quickly. Any ideas on how to slow it down anyone ?
I tried several times. If I knew a halt keycode sequence I would press it.

Yes, as far as I can see, I do see the Welcome to Linux and Second-Stage 
message but beyond that it is moving too fast.
