I am trying to compile a python module to import into Nuke, but it appears that Nuke is compiled with vc8 on Windows instead of vc9 like the standard python 2.6 distribution.
Is there a plan to upgrade to vc9 compiler for Nuke soon, or will I need to plan on maintaining vc8 solutions for python 2.6 and my python packages? Is there a roadmap planned out for upgrading python versions in Nuke as well? Thanks, -Ben Deda
