Holger, Thanks! I did see the Nuke 8 announcement, but had forgotten about it and didn't put 2 and 2 together to think about how that would help in this particular situation. I may be able to get my employer to spring for a copy of Wingware Python IDE, which is what our "real" programmer is using. For the most part, I am a compositor who is a part-time hacker. Still, it would be great to have the proper tools to make my meager skills a little less… meager ;^)
I'll definitely look into Eclipse as well and see what it may have to offer!
