Afaik you can't do this short of writing your own browser from scratch.
I have been wanting to write a PySide based file browser for ages, or at least the basics of it, and start a community project to get a better file browser out there, but life and all that sot of stuff keeps happening.

Hello guys,

Is there a way to modify Nuke's built-in dialogs?

In particular, I would like to add a tabview widget to the FileOpen/FileSave dialogs to append the asset management browser dialogs, like the way it is done in Katana.
