Hey, I totally forgot to reply to this thread when I heard back from Foundry. Here’s their response:
They say that this is actually a bug with QT and PySide, rather than with the way Nuke works. There have been a number of bugs logged for this on the QT system, such as QTBUG-2332. Some possible workarounds include using grabWidget instead of grabWindow, or using grabFramebuffer and cropping the result to the frameGeometry of the window. Until there is a fix in QT, there is nothing our developers can do about it. Haven’t had time to look into this yet (other priorities) but I’ll have to try their suggestions.
