Hey, I totally forgot to reply to this thread when I heard back from
Foundry. Here’s their response:

They say that this is actually a bug with QT and PySide, rather than with
the way Nuke works.

There have been a number of bugs logged for this on the QT system, such as
QTBUG-2332.

Some possible workarounds include using grabWidget instead of grabWindow,
or using grabFramebuffer and cropping the result to the frameGeometry of
the window.

Until there is a fix in QT, there is nothing our developers can do about it.

Haven’t had time to look into this yet (other priorities) but I’ll have to
try their suggestions. Has anyone already managed to pull something like
this off?
