DPX scan with very dark value (below 95) goes under 0 once in
linear. What technique do you use in those cases ?

there are many Nuke nodes that will clip at 0, especially
mergers. I think you need to take a look at what your colour
conversion to linear is doing.
the only time I would expect to see negative values would be
in secondary channels like pWorld or maybe zDepth and
generally speaking the only thing I would use a grade node for
is to maybe normalise depth.
