Hi there! I have some problems with the disc cache on my render machines (Linux). We use Nuke 6.2 with Rush (actual version) as the render management software. I'm setting two environment variables for Nuke in my Rush submit script: NUKE_DISK_CACHE and NUKE_DISK_CACHE_GB. Setting the path of the disc cache folder works fine. So the environment variables seem to work. But the folder is growing and growing and growing. Limiting the size with the NUKE_DISK_CACHE_GB variable doesn't seem to work at all.
I just tested it this morning: deleted the old folder to start from scratch and set the NUKE_DISK_CACHE_GB value to 1, which should limit the size to 1GB, right? After a few hours, the folder already has 2.7GB of data and is still growing. Is there any logic behind that behaviour? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to make the limiting work?
