My intent was to clear up any possible ambiguities since people are relying on info from these posts to make informed decisions. Bearing in mind that the Read node offers both Gamma 2.2 and sRGB; and, we're talking about changing default to a particular setting -- I wanted to be as specific as possible. People could possibly read the thread and opt for Gamma 2.2 since that's what was mentioned... no need to approximate... this is Nuke, baby!
