It's my understanding that F65 uses a custom compressed codec within the MXF container. So while you could use existing mxf tools to open the mxf, you still wouldnt be able to pull out the pixel rasters without using the real F65 SDK.

Can anyone confirm?

Hi guys.

I'm in the middle of a project shot with a sony F65.
The material is great but the work-flow is a bit nasty.
I'm currently rendering all the mxf files to 16 bit DPX (using the srviewer)
and then use them in Nuke to do the compositing.
We also have a scratch but that's fully booked at the moment
Is there a way to have the mxf files in Nuke.

Cheers
Robert
