So I am trying to pass 6 mattes through a large comp. I created a new
layer, and I can pass 4 mattes down no problem, but I am just realizing
I am not sure how to access the additional 2 mattes. The shuffle node
lets you create an 8 channel layer ( in this case Layer1, r, g, b, a, x,
y) And the shuffle node help info says "rearrange up to 8 channels." How
does 1 access the next 4 channels, or is it even possible?
Additionally, the merge node, only lets you "also merge" 1 extra layer.
My mattes are going through many type of merges. So for the sake of a
clean and understandable comp I would like to have all my mattes pass
through in 1 layer.
I suppose, if it came to it I could just make 2 layers and then "also
merge" "all". And do a bit of reworking of the comp. But I would still
like to know the answer to this question.
Thanks,
Adam
