I don't have sources but I know Chaos Group already have a "way" to do
deep images with VRay but was waiting for EXR2.0 to include it.
I suppose we only need to wait now... :)

or .rat deep files to exr 2.0. I have seen Deep files go from 325 meg

don't want to take up a nuke license to do this.
