Here's a Deep Expression node to do it, though clamp doesn't seem to work in
the deep expression node so there may be some oddities depending on the data.
This also doesn't account for the new volumetric deep data that might have
varying .front and .back values - but I'm guessing that %99 of users aren't
using that at the moment.
Just deepToImage the output...
set cut_paste_input [stack 0]
version 6.3 v8
push $cut_paste_input
DeepExpression {
temp_name0 near
temp_expr0 0
temp_name1 far
temp_expr1 100
chans1 deep
rgba.red "((deep.front - near) / ( far - near )) * rgba.alpha"
rgba.green "((deep.front - near) / ( far - near )) * rgba.alpha"
rgba.blue "((deep.front - near) / ( far - near )) * rgba.alpha"
name DeepExpression1
selected true
xpos 202
ypos -32
}
