oh now that I think of it, of course it would work
on OSX if you use the USB ethernet dongle as
your main internet connection.

I have to add though that there may be very different
reasons why it doesn't work on OSX (maybe it's even
the driver of this thingie).Something keeps telling me
it's weird that suddenly the problem has disappeared
on FreeBSD but not on OSX...

I think the only ones who can give a clear explanation
is the Foundry or FlexLM...
I doubt they will though, because if it doesn't work you
might have to buy another license ;)


The option of running the licenseserver is well documented
in the flexlm docs. You could even rent the license out to
someone at the other side of the world when you're asleep ;)
