Unfortunately I dont have the files on me right now to create a setup for this one. The theory is with a tracked camera you can 'project' a fix or new imagery onto the original filmed plate, and it 'automatically' will apply the correct perspective and movement changes.
Check out a tutorial like the one below to get feel for how it works. I only skimmed this one but it seems to be the same concept, only replacing a sign instead of adding some roads. Hope it helps.
