Hi Gary,

The Viewer node control panel has a '3D' tab which contains various options for displaying a selection of information for points, vertices, primitives.. and a number of other 3D related options.

You can access the Viewer node's control panel by pressing 's' when your mouse is over the viewer window.

The option Vil's talking about is the third button from the right next to the 'show' label.

Cheers,

Sean

    Hi Gary,

It sounds possible; you can check for sure by switching on
primitive normals in the Viewer settings (on the 3D tab; it's the
button with a 'p' and an arrow on it). Do you have an example
script you could share with us & any details about your Nuke version?

Unfortunately the ModelBuilder doesn't provide a way to flip
normals yet, but I've added a feature request for that (bugzilla
    #37908).

    Cheers,
    Vil

Question about model builder. I'm using model builder to
generate some holdout mattes. When I use the primitives
everything works fine. But when I create a plane, then extrude
it, the plane renders correctly but the extruded section
doesn't. Feels like maybe the normals are reversed for just
the extruded section? Anybody run into something like this?
