It's very annoying that Nuke's Quicktime helper task/process ties up QT files for some time after they're no longer in use in Nuke. After QT files have been deleted from a Nuke setup, the process sometimes hangs around for several minutes. This wouldn't be noticed, but it 'locks up' the QT file itself, preventing it from being renamed or moved because it is still considered "in use" by nuke (the helper process in actuality).
It would be nice to see these process/tasks closed or killed immediately when a QT file is removed from a nuke script. -- sam marrocco | chief technical officer ringside.cutters.picnic.moonlink 248 548 2500 w 248 910 3344 c ringsidecreative.com <http://ringsidecreative.com/>
