As long as numpy.ma and numpy.records are, and will remain, part of the standard numpy distribution, this is fine. This is a key issue -- what is "core" numpy and what is not, but I know I'd like to see a lot of things built on ma and records, both, so I think they do belong in core. -Chris -- Christopher Barker, Ph.D. Oceanographer Emergency Response Division NOAA/NOS/OR&R (206) 526-6959 voice 7600 Sand Point Way NE (206) 526-6329 fax Seattle, WA 98115 (206) 526-6317 main reception [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Numpy-discussion mailing list Numpy-discussion@scipy.org http://projects.scipy.org/mailman/listinfo/numpy-discussion
