Hey Thouis, Just chiming in to encourage you not to get discouraged. There is a large, mostly silent majority who feel just the same way you do, it's just that they are silent precisely because they want to write good code and contribute and not participate in long, unproductive email threads that border on flame wars. You've made helpful comments here already advising people to take this offlist. After that there is nothing much to do but roll up your sleeves, make some pull requests, and engage in a worthwhile discussion about work.
