I ended up installing 2.6 and then going with a 2.6 build instead of 2.7 Have not tried rebuilding in 2.7 after installing 2.6. Marek noted that there was a known issue when 2.7 was the only version installed on the box which happened to be the circumstance in my case. I believe a branch was proposed for a merge that would fix the issue but I have not tested.
