@Sinon Yes, you're right, the fix_... branch has been fixed, some people
(eg me) still encounter troubles when building with python 2.7 only, one
can try with code from PR#141 if that helps.

@Joshua, that said, if you have time, could you please test with master, or
once PR#141 gets merged in? And report errors if still failing? We'd be
interested in brushing out the py2.7 experience.
