Hi,
Sorry for the total newb questions... I am taking another stab at trying
to get NuPIC installed and functioning but am having some issues and
would be very grateful to receive some assistance.
I am running 64 bit linux (Mint 13) with python2.7
I git cloned both https://github.com/numenta/nupic and
https://github.com/numenta/nupic-linux64
First off, what exactly is that second repo providing and do I need it?
When I followed the instructions specified there and then go to run
$NUPIC/build.sh I get
nupic/build.sh: line 83:
/research/nupic-linux64/nta/eng/lib/python2.7/site-packages/init_cov_core.pth:
No such file or directory
when I take a look around therein I see that there is only a python2.6
dir. Is it possible to use python 2.7? I have seen a bunch of other
discussion on this list about 2.7 and would prefer to stick with that
since it is what I use for other projects.
