Ahh... That's exactly what I'm experimenting at home with (not CLA, but other 
code). I have my laptop control the car with arduino on board via XBee wireless 
interface. In this case I just send data from Arduino's sensors to my laptop 
and then send params back to Arduino to drive motors. In this case all the 
computations are done on a laptop of course and Arduino is acting only as an 
interface between algorithm and motors.
