I have encountered the same problem with running the tests. Moreover, I also tried to run the python test example "hotgym" using
$NUPIC/examples/opf/clients/hotgym/hotgym.py and got the following error from nupic.data.datasethelpers import findDataset ImportError: No module named nupic.data.datasethelpers Does anyone know what's wrong with the tests?
