I am supportive of this. And I am willing to talk about problems and issues
related to the project. I am less willing to take on an official role.
Not sure what a "mentors" responsibilities are.

If either of them are up for it, that would be great. Otherwise, I can
interface between them and the student as necessary, since I've been sitting
with them discussing these ideas. Subutai, Jeff, just let me know what you'd
like to do.

I'm the person who added # 4. Actually, I expected Jeff and Subutai to be
mentors for this one because the new TP is Jeff's ideas and he's probably
still working
on it. Subutai is more familiar with the current TP and SP implementation
than most of us.
Furthermore, Jeff and Subutai did have experience experimenting with vision
problems before
so it might be a big help for this one. But, Chetan, if you're familar with
TP and SP code
and you understand Jeff's new ideas enough, you're welcomed to be the mentor
for this task.

Cheers,
Vinh

I've assigned myself to #4, but if the person who added it wants to be
a mentor, feel free to replace my name with yours.

Hey all, one more thing I would like to get is volunteers for mentors
for each project. If you come up with one of these ideas, it would be
excellent if you could list yourself as a "mentor" in the wiki. Each
idea needs to have a mentor assigned at some point, and the earlier we
assign the, the better our chances will be.

I've assigned myself as mentor for a couple of them. Please do the
same if you have the time to help.
