@Jeff,

thanks for your reply. I've been literally "captured" by their paper (reading that I thought it used NuPIC to generate the Fingerprints).

@David,
thanks for your reply. Can't wait to try the new API.

The Retina code itself, I'm sorry to say, is not open source and Retina creation is considered a proprietary asset. Also, the Fingerprints (SDRs) themselves are created through a custom Cortical.io process and not through NuPIC.

Thanks, that's exactly (unfortunately :D) the final response to what I was asking.

Cheers,
Raf

Hi Raf,

Thank you for your interest in Cortical.io's Retina code. We are currently working on a new version of the API which is much more streamlined and easier to use, which should be available pretty soon. So stay tuned!

I hope that answers some of your questions?

Thanks again!

    Hello Numenta.
    Is there any repository for the Cortical.io's retina code?

    I know they provide an API (which I tried and I must admit being
    super duper cool!) but for didactic reasons I'd love to see how I
    can generate the fingerprints myself.
    Are they just "SDR" representations I can recreate through NuPIC?
    Am I wrong?

    Thanks for your help,

    Raf
