@Jeff,
thanks for your reply. I've been literally "captured" by their paper
(reading that I thought it used NuPIC to generate the Fingerprints).
@David,
thanks for your reply. Can't wait to try the new API.
The Retina code itself, I'm sorry to say, is not open source and
Retina creation is considered a proprietary asset. Also, the
Fingerprints (SDRs) themselves are created through a custom
Cortical.io process and not through NuPIC.
Thanks, that's exactly (unfortunately :D) the final response to what I
was asking.
Cheers,
Raf

Hi Raf,
Thank you for your interest in Cortical.io's Retina code. We are
currently working on a new version of the API which is much more
streamlined and easier to use, which should be available pretty soon.
So stay tuned!
The Retina code itself, I'm sorry to say, is not open source and
Retina creation is considered a proprietary asset, but its use is made
widely available and easy enough to gain access to. Also, the

I hope that answers some of your questions?
Thanks again!

Hello Numenta.
Is there any repository for the Cortical.io's retina code?
I know they provide an API (which I tried and I must admit being
super duper cool!) but for didactic reasons I'd love to see how I
can generate the fingerprints myself.
Are they just "SDR" representations I can recreate through NuPIC?
Am I wrong?
Thanks for your help,
Raf
