But at the same time, there is some good news too... :-)

It looks like this is a re-branded Belkin device, since the report descriptor violates the HID specification in the exactly same way. Funny enough it even has the same broken UPS.PowerSummary.BelowRemainingCapacityLimit path (which would mean that the UPS would continuously be reporting low battery if we wouldn't work around that).

If you make the same change you made to the belkin-hid.c subdriver instead, chances are that you'd get quite decent support for your UPS. Could you try this out and let us know? Please include a 'upsc' dump too.
