Citeren Greg Terkanian <[email protected]>:

My installation is from an Ubuntu (Jaunty) package (2.4.1). This is their latest. I'm supposing you're going to recommend I install from source.

Of course. We don't release new versions without reason.

I'd rather not. Is there a patch or something I can apply to my existing version?

We have no control over whatever versions distributions are using. If you need to patch an existing installation, ask the people from whom you got the installed version.

You could compile the nut-2.4.3 sources and use (copy over) just the usbhid-ups driver, keeping the remainder of the installed nut-2.4.1 installation as it is. Make sure to use the ./configure flags that were used by Ubuntu to build nut-2.4.1 for your system. We can't help you with that.

Best regards, Arjen
