I had to reinstall to get a proper usb_device.inf. Is there an easier
way to regenerate that file when dealing with multiple UPS types on a
test system?
Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but maybe running "wdi-simple.exe" (in the 
"others" directory of your NUT installation) after plugging your new device might help.
