If it's not too late for your tests, I committed a v0.03 to the 'atcl' branch, 
with string matching to avoid confusion with other 0001:0000 devices.

We've definitely heard of cases where an UPS will generate enough noise on the 
USB bus that it disconnects. The best we can do is try to re-attach to the same 
device when it comes back. The current driver should handle this - if not, 
please send debug output from the driver. (Probably at least -DDD)
