You may also want to check out Egothor. I believe Leo & David Weiss (on the list) created some nice webapp-based GUIs for their Capek robot.
Just a small correction: the GUI for Capek in Egothor is a kind of read-only interface to get the statistics... Not a fully-fledged application to control the crawling process.
