Thanks for the information. I am more interested in deleting links from segments instead of WebDB . I tried to delete from WebDB before but if the links are in segments then it will show up in search results.
 
I will try and and send the code to this list if it works.

Well, you cannot do it with this tool - the javadoc explains it. You
need to remove the links from the WebDB. PruneIndexTool could be
extended to prepare a deletion list to be fed to another tool (to be
written...), which would really delete them from the WebDB. Also, an
extension to URLFilter should be made (for use in the
UpdateDatabaseTool) to prevent the links from being added back to the
WebDB during the future updates.

Now, if you have some spare time on your hands, we would gladly accept
contributions... ;-)
