Looks interesting, in terms of having there search engine code all open source. 
Since its built on Nutch, I wouldn't mind seeing any changes they have 
implemented for performance. If they disclose there technical infrastructure, 
like on Wikipedia that would be cool also.
 
They also mention the index being available, that makes it sound like anyone 
can operate a search engine skipping the fetching part altogether.
 
As for the site itself, looking at the screen shot it was mostly ads on the 
right side and Wikipedia entries on the top. Nothing to go nuts about, yet. I'm 
sure since its coming from the Wikipedia world it will garner some good press, 
but as for taking on Google that remains to be unseen.
 
I will be watching.... maybe even searching a bit too.
